Bill's been playing on the jazz side for the past decade, but this is the first time he's brought his originals into the studio, a mix of vocal and instrumental tunes. Some titles include: "Let's Get One Thing Straight"; "Indigo"; "Visions of You"; "Love and the River"; "No Use Blaming Love"; "You Might be Right"; "The Google-Eyed Tango"; "Hollero"; "And If You Dream," plus an instrumental version of Bob Dylan's "My Back Pages." Limited first pressing contains two extra tracks.

Features Bruce Swaim, tenor sax; Chuck Underwood and Gantt Kushner, electric guitar; Scott Giambusso, bass; Larry Taylor, drums, and Steve Bloom, percussion. Special studio guests are Paul Langosch (Tony Bennett) bass, John Jennings, electric guitar (Mary Chapin Carpenter) and David Mattacks, drums (Fairport Convention, Mary Chapin Carpenter).
